Introduction

The Department of Radiology, Tangdu Hospital, the Military Medical University of PLA Airforce is a comprehensive discipline of imaging diagnosis and treatment, which combines X-ray, CT, MR and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy together. It is the master and doctoral degree conferring spots of imaging and nuclear medicine. In 2003, it was approved to establish the Northwest Training Center of China Medical Imaging Technology Research Association. In 2007, it was rated as a National Key (Cultivation) Discipline and Key Discipline of Shaanxi Province. In 2009, it became the Radiology Diagnostic Quality Control Center of Shaanxi Province. It is the first batch of the National Resident Standardized Training Base and the National Specialist Doctor Training Base. The Functional and Molecular Imaging Key Lab of Shaanxi Province was established in 2018, which combines the advantages of medicine and engineer. In order to obtain multimodal imaging and molecular genetic information of diseases, to broken through the bottleneck of relying on simple imaging to diagnose diseases comprehensively, and to fill the information technology gaps that accurately diagnose diseases by combining imaging and molecular biology information, it focuses on functional and molecular imaging technologies, takes information science and technology as the foundation and tool, and combines multiple imaging modalities and molecular genetic testing methods. It has undertaken a number of scientific research projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the army logistics major science and technology projects.
